Last night's live gig went well - the Dunblane Hydro really is a lovely venue now that it has been refurbished - burning log fire and Victorian splendour.
We were billed as The Sensational Christine Sparks Show and started with Burns' Ae Fond Kiss. Later we played A Man's a Man and My Love is Like a Red Red Rose. In front of a burning log fire with a very attentive audience,Red Red Rose is the perfect song on which to end.
I am really looking forward to the release of the Songs of Robert Burns album - his songs go down really well wherever we play them,
We have a goal to record another three in the coming week.
